Votum SAPolish courts rule out on at least 4,600 CHF loan cases in Q2 - Votum
The number of court rulings made in CHF loan cases rose to at least 4,600 in the second quarter of 2024 from 4,300 in the first quarter, data presented to PAP Biznes by listed legal advisor group Votum showed.
The market data collected by Votum group shows that 4,519 rulings (around 98 percent) were beneficial for the consumers and 89 rulings (around 2 percent) were beneficial to the lenders. In five cases the secondary court annulled the ruling of the primary court for re-examination.
Among the beneficial verdicts, 96 percent constitute rulings declaring the loan agreement invalid. In 4 percent of the cases the courts ruled on maintaining the loan agreement with elimination of the unfair provisions from their content.
In the case of verdicts made by the secondary courts, Votum found 1,147 cases, 99 percent of which were beneficial to the customers.
