Tauron power announces tender for installation of half million smart meters

Listed power group Tauron's unit responsible for distribution segment, Tauron Dystrybucja, has announced a procurement procedure for the installation of more than half a million remote reading meters, the company said in a press release. These devices will be installed by the end of 2025 throughout the company's distribution area.


As stated, the subject of the contract has been divided into twenty-five parts and covers a total of more than 0.5 million replacements.

Tauron's release indicated that the order will be implemented from the date of conclusion of the contract until December 29, 2025.

The task of the future contractor will be the legalisation replacement of 1-phase and 3-phase electricity meters and the unblocking of meter data transmission.
