Ten Square Games abandons development of Fishing Champions prototype game

Listed video games producer Ten Square Games has decided to stop further development of the Fishing Champions game prototype, the company announced. The key parameters of the prototype, which have been tested over the past few months, have proved insufficient to justify further investment in the development of this project.


Ten Square Games said it continues to work on two game prototypes that record good early parameters and show greater market potential. Their testing will continue until at least the end of 2024, and further decisions will be made after analysing their monetisation potential.

The company added that due to the discontinuation of work on the Fishing Champions prototype, the company will take a write-off of an estimated PLN 1.2 million (EUR 275,640) in the fourth quarter of 2024.
