Trakcja builder has PLN 145.7 mln net contract with DB Projekt and PKP Intercity

Listed builder Trakcja has up to PLN 145.7 million (EUR 34.74 mln) agreement with construction company DB Projekt and Poland's long-distance railway carrier PKP Intercity for the construction in the 'design and build' system of a new locomotive shed with equipment and accompanying infrastructure on the Warszawa-Grochow railway siding, the company said in a market filing.


The conclusion of the contract follows the selection of the offer of Trakcja and DB Projekt as the most favourable bid submitted in an open tender.

According to the contract, the assumed share of Trakcja and DB Projekt in the implementation of the contract in its entire scope is 50 percent, with the final division to be determined in the execution agreement to be concluded between the members of the consortium.
