Unibep builder inks approx. PLN 207.6 mln net deal to build biomass boiler plant

Listed builder Unibep has secured a contract for the construction of a biomass-fired boiler plant at Pruszkow Combined Heat and Power Plant (CHPP) owned by Poland's largest energy concern's subsidiary, Orlen Termika S.A., the builder said in a market filing. The value of the contract is approximately PLN 207.6 million (EUR 48.8 mln) net.


Unibep reported that the subject of the contract is the construction of a complete new biomass boiler plant on the site of the Pruszkow CHP plant in Pruszkow, together with auxiliary installations and economies, equipped, among other things, with three identical boiler units and their integration into the existing infrastructure of the plant.

The investment is scheduled to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2027.
