Italian banking group UniCredit listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange has issued senior bonds in two tranches with a total value of EUR 2 billion, the lender said in a market filing.
UniCredit has issued senior bonds in two tranches, comprising bonds totalling EUR 1 billion with a 6-year maturity, with an option for early redemption after 5 years, and EUR 1 billion with a 10-year maturity, targeted at institutional investors.
The issue was carried out following a book-building process, which attracted total demand of approximately EUR 5.8 billion, with over 300 orders from institutional investors.
It was indicated that UniCredit Bank GmbH acted as the sole global coordinator of the issue and joint bookrunner, together with ABN AMRO, BBVA, BNP PARIBAS, Erste Group, IMI - Intesa Sanpaolo, LBBW, Natixis, NatWest and JP Morgan.
The expected ratings for the issue are Baa1 (Moody's) / BBB+ (S&P) / BBB+ (Fitch).
The bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
