Zabka Group SA (Żabka)Zabka grocer wants to launch its own e-commerce logistics
Listed convenience store chain Zabka Group is preparing to launch its own e-commerce logistics, company representatives told a conference call following the release of Zabka's financial report for the third quarter of 2025. The Izidrop service will mainly be used for returning parcels.
"We are preparing to develop our own e-commerce logistics, Izidrop. It is a product that is slightly different from those already on the market and will be mainly targeted at customers who want to make returns," Zabka's Chief Strategy & Development Officer Tomasz Blicharski announced at the conference call.
As reported, the group's extensive logistics platform will be used to provide a competitively priced parcel delivery service.
"The service is open to third parties. It applies to products that are not specifically purchased or even collected at a Zabka store, but simply purchases from e-commerce, and the Izidrop courier service is one of the channels through which the return will be made. The service works both ways and also applies to collections," said Blicharski.
"We want this service to be part of our convenience ecosystem, integrated with our application and, on the one hand, available to e-commerce companies that can include it in their portfolio of logistics companies, and on the other hand, our customers will be able to use it at Zabka points, both when making a purchase and when collecting and, above all, returning goods," he added.
Chief Strategy & Development Officer announced that the project will be launched in the near future and will cover the entire network fairly quickly after its launch.
Zabka also wants to develop a 'buy now, pay later' service that would allow delaying payment for purchases at the chain by several to dozens of days. Tests are underway, indicating a high interest in this feature.
