Over the past year, the market capitalisation of WSE-listed State Treasury owned companies and their listed subsidiaries increased by PLN 51.2 billion (EUR 12 bln), or 16 percent, reported Poland's Ministry of State Assets.
"The main task of the ministry is to increase the value of the assets that have been entrusted to us. (...) This increase amounted to more than PLN 50 billion," Minister of State Assets Jakub Jaworowski told a conference.
He pointed out that the rate of increase in the value of Treasury companies was higher than those without Treasury shares.

It added that over the past 12 months, PGE's share prices have increased by 29.4 percent, Enea's by 44.5 percent and Tauron's by 95.6 percent.
