Poland to allocate PLN 20 bln from Security and Defence Fund to infrastructure
PLN 20 billion (EUR 4.7 bln) from the Security and Defence Fund created within Poland's national recovery plan KPO will be earmarked for infrastructure, the deputy minister of the development funds and regional policy Jan Szyszko announced at X.
"PLN 2 billion for cybersecurity, PLN 3 billion for research and technology development, more than PLN 20 billion for infrastructure: from shelters to tracks, roads and bridges, i.e. dual-use facilities," the deputy development funds minister listed.
Szyszko presented the first investment plan of the KPO Security and Defence Fund to the European Commission on Tuesday.
The Security and Defence Fund (FBiO) is created under Poland's national recovery plan KPO. The resources of the Fund will be used to strengthen Poland's defence and security capabilities.
