Poland to see continued stable economic growth, gradual stabilisation of CPI in 2027-29 - MinFin
In 2027-2029, the Ministry of Finance forecasts continued stable economic growth in Poland and gradual stabilisation of inflation around the middle of Poland's central bank NBP inflation target, according to the explanatory memorandum to the draft budget for 2026.
"Stable economic growth is expected to continue in 2027-2029 (3.0 percent in 2027, 2.9 percent in 2028 and 2.8 percent in 2029), slightly below potential GDP growth. Low and stable inflation, planned fiscal consolidation, and the continuation of long-term investment projects financed by EU and national funds will contribute to the stabilisation of economic growth below 3.0 percent," the ministry assessed.
"Over the forecast horizon, inflation is expected to gradually stabilise around the NBP's inflation target (2.5 percent). In 2027, average annual inflation will be 2.6 percent, in 2028 - 2.5 percent, and in 2029 - 2.4 percent," it added.
