Poland signs contracts for 30.0 pct of EU funds for 2021-2027 by Dec 2 - funds ministry
By December 2, 10,168 agreements have been signed for EU funding of projects that will use 30.0 percent of the available pool of EU cohesion policy funds earmarked for 2021-2027, Poland's Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy said on its website.
"We have signed agreements for the implementation of 10,168 investments with a total eligible expenditure of PLN 122.8 billion, PLN 96.7 billion of which in EU funding, which makes up 30.0 percent of the available pool of EU funds," the ministry wrote.
The ministry added that by December 2 - under national and regional programmes - potential beneficiaries had submitted 45,712 applications for project co-financing with a total value of PLN 373.2 billion (EUR 86.9 bln), of which the requested EU co-financing amounted to PLN 288.6 billion (EUR 67.2 bln).
