Poland's c. bank increases allocation in ETFs to PLN 30.4 bln at end-2024
Poland's central bank NBP increased its allocation in Exchange Traded Funds by PLN 22.6 billion (EUR 5.3 bln) to PLN 30.4 billion (EUR 7.1 bln) at the end of 2024, according to bank's annual financial report.
Poland's central bank NBP invested in the following ETFs in 2024: S&P 500 Total Return (USA), NASDAQ 100 (USA), Euro STOXX 50 Net Return (Eurozone), FTSE 100 Net Tax (UK), S&P TSX Capped Composite Total Return (Canada), S&P ASX 200 Total Return and Solactive Australia 200 (Australia).
NBP added that about 1 percent of the debt securities held by the central bank are categorised as green bonds and sustainable bonds.
