Poland's C/A balance in liquid years down to minus 0.4 pct of GDP in March - MinFin
Poland’s current account balance on a liquid year basis declined in March 2025 to minus 0.4 percent of GDP, the Ministry of Finance reported.
"For the eleventh month in a row, the annual growth rate of imports was significantly higher than that of exports. Exports were weakened most by lower foreign sales of automotive parts and durable consumer goods," the Ministry of Finance wrote in a report.
"The largest increase in imports was in consumer goods, particularly durable goods. The capital account surplus amounted to 0.6 percent of GDP, increasing the positive loan/debt ratio (0.1 percent of GDP)," the report added.
