Poland's Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) at 100.9 pts in February - EC
The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) for Poland rose to 100.9 points in February 2025 from 97.5 points in January, according to data from the European Commission published on Thursday.
According to the EC, the business climate index for Polish industry in February was minus 15.8 versus minus 16.5 points in the previous month.
The services index was minus 2.9 points against minus 5.2 points in January.
The Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) is composed of indications for industry (40 percent), services (30 percent), consumers (20 percent) and construction and retail (5 percent each).
The 100-point level corresponds to the long-term average of the ESI (since 1990).
