Poland's exports down 1.8 pct y/y to EUR 28.26 bln in April - economic chamber
Poland's exports in April fell by 1.8 percent year on year and by 3.3 percent month on month to EUR 28.260 billion, according to an analysis carried out by experts at the Polish economic chamber KIG.
"The data currently available on the state of the real economy and the opinions gleaned from members of the KIG allow us to estimate that exports in April 2025 amounted to EUR 28,260 million," KIG wrote.
"It thus turned out to be 3.3 percent lower than in March, while in relation to the volumes recorded twelve months ago, it decreased by 1.8 percent," it added.
The Polish economic chamber pointed out that, in turn, the volume of exports in May will be lower than that recorded in March for seasonal reasons.
KIG estimates that exports in 2025, amounting to EUR 343.8 billion, could be 3.4 percent higher than the year before, and in 2026, reaching EUR 374.6 billion, they could increase by another 9.0 percent.
