Poland's gg deficit seen at PLN 249.126 bln in 2025 - Eurostat
Poland's general government deficit will likely rise in 2025 to PLN 249.126 billion (EUR 58.2 bln) from PLN 239.809 billion (EUR 56 bln) in 2024, according to Poland's fiscal notification provided by the EU stats office Eurostat.
The deficit of the central government sub-sector this year is expected to be PLN 246.517 billion (EUR 57.56 bln) against PLN 244.180 billion (EUR 57 bln) in 2024.
The surplus of the local government sub-sector is expected to be PLN 5.519 billion (EUR 1.3 bln) against PLN 13.292 billion (EUR 3.1 bln) previously.
The deficit of the social security funds sub-sector is expected to be PLN 8.128 billion (EUR 1.9 bln) against a deficit of PLN 8.921 billion (EUR 2.1 bln) in 2024.
