Poland's MPC cuts interest rate by 25 bps to 4.50 pct, all rates reduced
Poland's Monetary Policy Council (MPC) has decided to cut all Poland's central bank rates by 25 basis points, including the main reference interest rate to 4.50 percent, the NBP announced in a statement.
The MPC has cut the deposit and lombard rates by 25 basis points each to 4.0 percent and 5.0 percent, respectively.
The rediscount rate has also been reduced by 25 basis points to 4.55 percent and the discount rate has been cut to 4.60 percent.
The Council is slated to publish the statement following its meeting at 16:15 local time on Wednesday, October 8, while the follow-up monthly presser of the central bank's governor Adam Glapinski is scheduled for 15:00 local time on Thursday, October 9.
