Poland's MPC will not cut rates in March, says MPC member
Poland’s Monetary Policy Council will likely not cut interest rates in March, but the moment is approaching, Poland's MPC member Ludwik Kotecki said in a Biznes24 TV interview.
Kotecki explained that a majority of the Council is waiting for the moment when cutting interest rates can be done responsibly.
He added that after the MPC will have seen CPI figures for February and March, then during its April meeting first proposals to lower borrowing costs could appear.
It will also depend on other indicators, not only inflation, he said.
