Poland's pension plans PPK assets value up 3.5 pct m/m to PLN 37.3 bln in May
The net asset value of Poland's employer-sponsored pension plans PPK increased by 3.5 percent month on month to PLN 37.3 billion (EUR 8.72 bln) in May, Polish Development Fund (PFR) reported in its monthly summary.
The net asset value of PPK accounts increased by PLN 1.3 billion (EUR 303.8 mln) month on month and the average growth rate after May is PLN 1.4 billion (EUR 327.2 mln) per month, up from PLN 700 million (EUR 163.6 mln) in 2024.
PPK assets were 40.6 percent higher than in the prior year period.
PPK participation increased to 53.18 percent at the end of April, with the number of active participants rising to almost 4.7 million.
