Poland's retail bond sales at PLN 5.9 bln in August - MinFin
Poland's sales of retail bonds in August amounted to PLN 5.901 billion (EUR 1.4 bln), against PLN 8.226 billion (EUR 1.9 bln) in July, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
The finance ministry reported that the most popular instruments purchased were 1-year bonds - ROR (43 percent share in the sales structure). Individual buyers earmarked over PLN 2.533 billion (EUR 594.24 mln) for their purchase.
Slightly less interest was shown in 3-year bonds TOS (35 percent of total share), with sales at nearly PLN 2.047 billion (EUR 480.23 mln).
Year-to-date, retail bond sales have totalled PLN 51.48 billion (EUR 12.1 bln).
