The issue of minimum reserve requirement will be discussed at the next MPC meeting. The width of the interest rate corridor may also be discussed in June, according to statements made by Glapinski on Thursday's press conference following the MPC decision-making meeting held on Wednesday.
"The topic (of adjusting the minimum reserve requirement ratio - PAP) has been raised and it has been decided that it will be the subject of the discussion at the next meeting of the Council. Resources in this regard, comparative in other countries as well, will be prepared and this will be the point of discussion," said Glapinski.
When asked whether the issue of the width of the interest rate corridor will be discussed, the president informed that it may be the subject of discussion at the next meeting.
"We are determining the width of the corridor, perhaps we will also discuss it at the next meeting," said the governor of Poland’s central bank.
