Orlen energy posts Q1 adjusted LIFO EBITDA at PLN 11.6 bln, above consensus

Poland's largest energy concern Orlen posted first quarter 2025 adjusted LIFO EBITDA at PLN 11.6 billion (EUR 2.7 bln), PAP Biznes consensus assumed PLN 10.9 billion (EUR 2.6 bln). Orlen's first quarter net profit was PLN 4.3 billion (EUR 1 bln), consensus was PLN 4.6 billion (EUR 1.1 bln).


Orlen's LIFO EBITDA including impairment charges amounted to PLN 10.2 billion (EUR 2.4 bln).

In the first quarter of 2025, Orlen Group generated revenues of PLN 73.5 billion (EUR 17.3 bln) and operating cash flow of PLN 15.7 billion (EUR 3.7 bln).

The PAP Biznes consensus was for Orlen Group to have first quarter revenues of PLN 72.9 billion (EUR 17.2 bln).

The company invested PLN 6.2 billion (EUR 1.5 bln) in strategic projects in the first quarter of 2025, while reducing net debt by more than PLN 8 billion (EUR 1.9 bln) quarter-on-quarter.
