Bank Pekao SABank Pekao issues Eurobonds worth EUR 500 mln
Listed lender Bank Pekao has issued non-preferred senior bonds on the international market with a fixed coupon of 3.75 percent in the amount of EUR 500 million, maturing in June 2031, the bank said in a press release.
This is the third series of debt securities issued by Pekao on the Euro market as part of a EUR 5 billion medium-term note (MTN) programme.
As before, the bonds will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
SNP Bank Pekao bonds were priced at 165 basis points above the average swap rate. They were issued for a period of 6 years with the possibility of early redemption by the bank after five years from the date of issue.
The securities received a BBB rating from S&P Global Ratings Europe Limited.
The subscription for Bank Pekao's Eurobonds took place on May 28. Investors submitted bids worth over EUR 1.85 billion. The debt was allocated to asset managers (88 percent), banks (10 percent) and hedge funds, among others.
