Diagnostyka SADiagnostyka reports 8.3 percent y/y test volumes increase in Q1 2025 to 45.2 million
Listed medical diagnostic service provider Diagnostyka has reported an 8.3 percent year-on-year increase in test volumes in the first quarter of 2025. to 45.2 million. The average price of a diagnostic test increased by 14.1 percent year on year, the company reported.
As reported, a significant factor that positively impacted first quarter of 2025 results was record sales under the ‘’Prophylaxis 40 PLUS‘’ programme, as previously stated, this programme ended in April and was replaced by a new initiative, the "My Health" programme, based on a different premise.
"Diagnostyka does not have a direct executive role in it, so at this stage it is difficult to assess its impact on sales performance. The programme was launched in May and, like +Prophylaxis 40 PLUS+, it requires time for adequate communication and public education," wrote the report.
The 14.1 percent year-on-year increase in the average price of tests was, as reported, mainly generated by a positive product mix (including, among other things, price increases for genetic and histopathology test) and the the start of consolidation of the imaging business.
