Listed power group Enea has contracted a total of no less than 634 MW of power obligation for the group's units in the power market auction for 2029, Enea said in a market filing.
The group's portfolio of power contracts has been replenished by no less than 634 MW under renewed one-year contracts and now amounts to no less than 1,549 MW for 2029.
The main auction in the power market for 2029 was completed in the seventh round. The auction schedule shows that in the seventh round, the starting price was PLN 268.48 (EUR 62.69) kW/year and the minimum price was PLN 223.77 (EUR 52.25) kW/year.
The company said that the Enea Group's planned gas units with a total offered capacity of 1,253 MW in the main auction were withdrawn in earlier rounds as a result of the expected price for the capacity commitment not being achieved.
Pursuant to the Act on the Capacity Market, the preliminary results of the auction will be published within three working days after the end of the auction. The final results of the power auction will be announced by the President of the head of Poland's energy market regulator URE in the Bulletin of Public Information BIP on its website, on the first working day following the 21st day after the day of completion of the power auction.
