Listed HR firm Grupa Pracuj wants to continue acquisition processes; it plans to present a new three-year strategy in May, company representatives told a video
"Certainly, acquisitions are part of our growth strategy. We have a team working on it (...), but we don't want to buy left and right. We try to do it wisely. Softgarden, for example, was a smart investment and it fit our business model (...). But we definitely want to make acquisitions, whether one a year or two depends on the situation," CEO Przemyslaw Gacek said.
"We'll probably be talking about it in May - the acquisitions, the profile of the companies, we'll be sharing that," he added.
The CEO said that Grupa Pracuj plans to present a new strategy in May.
"The strategy will cover the next three years and will be presented together with the results for the first quarter," Gacek announced.
On Thursday, the management board recommended a dividend of PLN 2.1 (EUR 0.5) per share for 2024.
"We have an appetite for acquisitions. The dividend will be higher than last year. It could be higher, but given the potential ma M&A, we want to be prepared not to overextend the company's debt," Gacek said.
As stated, the amount earmarked for dividend payment may be changed, totalling up to a maximum of PLN 145.5 million (EUR 34.9 mln), as a result of the management board's planned issue of no more than 1,031,047 new D-series ordinary bearer shares, under the authorisation granted by the EGM resolution, with the amount of recommended dividend per share unchanged.
According to the management board member and the group's CFO Gracjan Fiedorowicz, the issue will be linked to the implementation of an incentive programme.
"We do not rule out that a new programme will come up in 2025," he added.
