Grupa Kęty SAKety metals assumes CAPEX of approx. PLN 300 mln in 2025, spending higher in H2
Listed metals group Kety expects investment expenditure in the second half of the year to be nearly twice as high as in the first half. For the whole of 2025, expenditure will amount to approximately PLN 300 million (EUR 70.3 mln), which is lower than previously expected, group representatives announced during a video conference.
"Based on certain savings that we have managed to achieve, we can see that the level of investment expenditure for the whole year will be closer to PLN 300 million, according to current estimates, but we will present accurate forecasts when we announce our results for the third quarter," Kety's CFO Rafal Warpechowski told the video conference following the release of group's financial report for the second quarter.
"However, we expect expenditure in the second half of the year to be almost twice as high as in the first half," he added.
The group's investment expenditure in the first half of 2025 amounted to PLN 102 million (EUR 23.9 mln). The current forecast for 2025 assumes CAPEX of PLN 343 million (EUR 80.4 mln).
