LPP Logistics has signed a lease agreement for a new distribution center in Romania, the company said.
"The first part of the centre will be put into operation at the end of the first quarter of 2026, and shipments to brick-and-mortar stores will begin in June. The new distribution center at CTPark Bucharest West will be the tenth facility in the entire LPP Logistics portfolio," the company wrote in the press release.
"Next year, LPP's total expenditure on logistics may reach PLN 1 billion, which underscores the importance of investments in the development of the supply chain and increasing the group's operational efficiency," it added.
The 11-year lease agreement signed at CTPark Bucharest West aims to increase the operational efficiency of the LPP Group in the markets of South-Eastern Europe.
In the first stage, the new facility will enable the supply of LPP stores in Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece, and in the following years it will also support other markets in the region.
“The warehouse will also play a key role in servicing online sales, providing logistics support for fulfillment centers managed by LPP Logistics in Romania," the company said.
"The launch of the new distribution center will create conditions for the LPP group to implement its ambitious expansion plans for the Sinsay brand, which opened its 200th store in Romania in November this year,” it added.
As stated, it will be possible to efficiently ship up to 6.5 million items of clothing per week. The company plans to expand the facility in the coming years in response to further volume growth and the development of LPP group brands in the region.
On November 18, it was announced that LPP Logistics had launched a 65,000 square metre e-commerce warehouse near Bucharest, which will allow it to handle over 80,000 orders per day.
The center has been operating since the end of October and will fulfill online orders to Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, and Hungary, among others.
