Orlen energy assumes cumulative LIFO EBITDA of PLN 500-550 bln in 2025-35

Poland's largest energy concern Orlen targets LIFO EBITDA growth of between PLN 53 billion and PLN 58 billion (EUR 12.4-13.6 bln) by 2035 in its strategy. The cumulative LIFO EBITDA in 2025-35 is expected to amount to PLN 500-550 billion (EUR 116.8-128.5 bln), the company said in a market filing.


"ORLEN's strategic ambition is to: ensure stable growth rate of LIFO EBITDA operating profit of PLN 53 billion to PLN 58 billion in 2035. The cumulative EBITDA LIFO operating profit for the years 2025-2035 will range from PLN 500 billion to PLN 550 billion" the market filing said.

As stated, in the perspective until 2030, the company plans to maintain the net debt/EBITDA ratio at a level not higher than 2.0 assuming the realisation of macroeconomic assumptions, budget projections and total planned capital expenditures.

After 2030 and the realisation of planned capital expenditures, Orlen expects positive cash flows and a gradual reduction of the net debt/EBITDA ratio to no more than 0.5 in 2035.
