PGE SAPGE power assumes PLN 235 bln of total CAPEX in new strategy by 2035
Listed power utility PGE's strategy by 2035 assumes total capital expenditures of PLN 235 billion (EUR 55.1 bln), the group said in a market filing.
As PGE pointed out, the total assumed CAPEX includes PLN 175 billion (EUR 41.1 bln) for development and maintenance, PLN 39 billion (EUR 9.15 bln) for acquisitions and PLN 21 billion (EUR 4.9 bln) for additional investment options.
"Within the above amount 39 percent of expenditures will be allocated for tariff-based investments, 22 percent for offshore wind farms with contracts for difference and 39 percent for investments justified by other support schemes with possibility to achieve additional profitability from energy and balancing capacities markets," PGE said in the market filing.
As part of the investment programme, PLN 75 billion (EUR 17.6 bln) of expenditures will be earmarked for the distribution development, PLN 85 billion (EUR 19.94 bln) for offshore and onshore renewable energy, PLN 37 billion (EUR 8.7 bln) for new segment of flexible gas generation, PLN 14 billion (EUR 3.3 bln) for energy storage and PLN 18 billion (EUR 4.2 bln) for district heating segment.
