CORRECTION: Poland's retail bond sales at approx. PLN 6.05 bln in May - MinFin
Poland's sales of retail bonds in May amounted to PLN 6.05 billion (EUR 1.4 bln), against PLN 7.365 billion (EUR 1.73 bln) in May, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
The finance ministry reported that the most popular instruments purchased were 3-year bonds - TOS. Individual buyers earmarked an amount of over PLN 2.728 billion (EUR 639.9 mln) for their purchase (45 percent share in the sales structure).
1-year bonds - ROR (29 percent of total share) with sales at PLN 1.766 billion (EUR 414.3 mln) were also popular among purchasers.
Year-to-date, retail bond sales have totalled around PLN 30.789 billion (EUR 7.2 bln).
