Energy price unfreezing to raise Poland's CPI by 0.3-0.4 pct, says c.bank governor
The unfreezing of energy prices will increase Poland's CPI by 0.3-0.4 percent, the NBP governor Adam Glapinski told a press conference following the MPC decision-making meeting.
"Electricity prices have been frozen until the end of the year. Under the current legal framework, they will be unfrozen in January. Assuming the current tariff levels, the unfrozen energy prices will increase consumer inflation by 0.3-0.4 percentage points," said Glapinski.
