Poland pays out around PLN 17.82 bln under Clean Air scheme since start in 2018
Poland has paid out around PLN 17.82 billion (EUR 4.18 bln) under all editions of the Clean AIr (Czyste Powietrze) scheme since 2018 and PLN 17.6 million (EUR mln) under the latest edition from March 31 to September 19, 2025, according to statistics published on the website of Poland's National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management (NFOSiGW).
As part of the new edition of the Clean Air programme (from March 31 to September 19, 2025), 32,357 applications were submitted for PLN 1.96 billion (EUR 459.7 mln) in subsidies; 11,123 agreements were concluded for PLN 622.5 million (EUR 146 mln), and PLN 17.65 million (EUR 4.1 mln) was paid out, the statistics show.The programme is financed via the EU Modernisation Fund.
