Poland records PLN 1.5 bln decrease of foreign investors' share in T-bonds to PLN 160.6 bln in March
Polish Treasury bonds saw the share of foreign investors decreasing by PLN 1.5 billion (EUR 350.7 mln) in March to PLN 160.6 billion (EUR 37.5 bln), the Ministry of Finance said in statement.
"In March, domestic Treasury securities debt increased by PLN 30.9 billion and amounted to PLN 1,284.9 billion. This consisted of an increase in debt to banks (including Poland's central bank NBP) by PLN 19.3 billion (to PLN 671.5 billion), domestic non-bank investors by PLN 13.1 billion (to PLN 452.9 billion) and non-residents by PLN 1.5 billion (to PLN 160.6 billion)," the ministry wrote.
"As a result, the share of banks (including Poland's central bank NBP) in domestic Treasury securities debt increased to 52.3 percent from 52.0 percent in February and the share of non-bank investors decreased to 35.2 percent from 35.1 percent in February," it added.
The share of non-residents in Poland's Treasury securities debt increased to 12.5 percent.
