Poland sees less employees expecting pay rise in 2025 than last year - report
In 2025, 53 percent of employees expect a pay rise. Less than in 2024 when this expectation was indicated by 59 percent of those surveyed, according to the ‘Work Monitor’ survey prepared by HR and consulting firm Randstad's research institute and Pollster.
"The number of people who expect a pay rise this year is declining: while in 2024, 59 percent of Polish workers had such predictions, 19 percent of whom definitely expected higher salaries, this year 53 percent of respondents expect a pay rise, 15 percent of them definitely," the survey commentary wrote.
As Randstad and Pollster emphasised, pay rises are most expected by those in management positions.
"Increases are most expected in the hotel and catering industry (63 percent of indications), public administration and transport and logistics (61 percent each)," the authors of the survey listed.
Regional HR Leader Northern Europe at Randstad Monika Hryniszyn pointed out that a slightly lower wage growth in Poland can be observed recently, and the survey data suggests that this trend may continue.
