Poland wants to adopt draft law regulating industrial property protection in Q1 2025
The Polish government wants to regulate industrial property protection procedures in a single legal act in the first quarter of 2025, the legislative work list of the Council of Ministers states.
"The aim of the draft law is to regulate in a single legal act, in a transparent manner, institutions and procedures concerning the protection of industrial property, to propose new solutions enabling the protection of exclusive rights, to simplify and shorten proceedings, including shortening the time for granting protection," it was written.
"The draft is a response to numerous postulates made by the users of the system of industrial property protection, i.e. entrepreneurs, representatives of business environment institutions and scientific environment," it added.
