Poland's core inflation to remain at around 4 pct in 2025 - c.bank governor
Core inflation in Poland is expected to remain at around 4 percent in 2025, Poland's central bank's governor Adam Glapinski told a press conference following a Monetary Policy Council's decision on interest rates made on Thursday.
"It is important to note that core inflation is also elevated. We have often underlined that this is the most important premise for the MPC," Glapinski said.
"Current projections indicate that this year core inflation in Poland will stabilise at an elevated level of around 4 percent; it might rise or fall a bit, but at the end of the year it will remain unchanged," he added.
