11 bit studios gaming wants to have 25-30 people working on Frostpunk 1886 by end-2025

Listed video games developer 11 bit studios wants to have 25-30 people working on the game Frostpunk 1886 by the end of 2025, CEO Przemyslaw Marszal told a videochat following the publication of company's financial report for the first quarter of 2025.


"There are currently about 15 people working on Frostpunk 1886, but we want to have 25-30 people working on this project by the end of the year," CEO Marszal said.

"This will be the size of the production team until the title is released," he added.

Frostpunk 1886 is expected to debut in 2027. The title will be a reimagining of the first part of the game as a platformer.

CEO Marszal also reiterated that the release of the console version of Frostpunk 2 is planned for the summer, while the autumn release window for the add-on (DLC) is still in place.

11 bit studios' CEO also indicated that the release of The Alters, scheduled for June 13, would remain unchanged, adding that the game is almost ready.

"I don't see any risk of delay for The Alters," Marszal said.
