Bank Handlowy will pay PLN 10.29 per share in dividends from its 2024 profits

The Ordinary General Meeting of listed lender Bank Handlowy, the Warsaw-listed unit of Citigroup decided that PLN 1.34 billion (EUR 316.4 mln) of the profit generated in 2024 will be allocated to dividends, which amounts to PLN 10.29 (EUR 2.43) per share, the bank said in a market filing.


The shareholders' decision is in line with the earlier recommendation of the bank's management board.

The dividend record date is July 7, 2025, and the payment date is July 14, 2025.

The bank had previously announced that such a dividend payment, representing 74.93 percent of the net profit for 2024, is in line with the individual recommendation of the Polish financial watchdog KNF. The dividend yield is 9 percent.

The shareholders also decided to create a reserve capital for the payment of dividends, including advance payments towards dividends.

The AGM also adopted a resolution to allocate the entire undistributed net profit from previous years, amounting to PLN 1.09 billion (EUR 257.3 mln), to the dividend capital.
