Cyfrowy Polsat SATobias Solorz dismissed from Cyfrowy Polsat TMT's supervisory board
Listed TMT group Cyfrowy Polsat shareholders have dismissed Tobias Solorz from the group's supervisory board during an extraordinary general meeting. The shareholders have also dismissed the company's long-term lawyer Jaroslaw Grzesiak.
Zygmunt Solorz, Cyfrowy Polsat main shareholder and Polsat Plus group founder, owning 62 percent of its shares through Solkomtel and TiVi foundations, was present at the meeting.
At the beginning of the meeting, Solorz proposed the candidacy of Jerzy Modrzejewski as chairman of the general meeting. As at the ZE PAK general meeting, Solorz clearly had speech difficulties and limited his speech to proposing the candidacy of Jerzy Modrzejewski and then stating the validity of his election to the position.
Zygmunt Solorz has sent a letter dated at September 26, announcing motions, which will lead to dismissing his children from the group's subsidiaries' management boards.
On Monday, Zygmunt Solorz’s investment vehicle, which controls listed power utility ZE PAK, voted out Tobias Solorz and Piotr Zak from the company's supervisory board at a shareholder meeting.
Last month, Zygmunt Solorz's children sent a letter to managers, expressing concern over alleged attempts to take over the firm, adding that they’re having difficulties contacting the billionaire due to his health and are in conflict with his current wife Justyna Kulka.
