WSE operator GPW begins search for strategic investor for its GPW DAI company

GPW DAI is dedicated to providing addressable TV advertising technology, using artificial intelligence, advanced algorithms and Big Data to effectively target advertising campaigns.

"The platform has been launched, and the first revenues have come in, but they are lower than we expected," CEO Bardzilowski told a press conference on Wednesday.

"Due to a significant reduction in revenue assumptions, we have started the process of looking for a strategic investor to take a majority stake," he added.

The CEO said that the GPW Logistics platform, which uses machine learning technologies to optimise costs in areas related to transport and logistics services, is planned to be launched in 2025.

As for the GPW Private Market, GPW has abandoned development in the area of crowdfunding.

"The development of tokenisation of non-financial assets in the WSE group is still planned, however, due to changes in regulatory conditions and lack of control over the built solution, the GPW group may not be able to use the results of the GPW Private Market project so far," according to the group's presentation displayed on the conference.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange operator said that despite its leadership in the consortium and by far the highest own contribution to the project, GPW is only entitled to 34.5 percent of the solution produced.

"We were very surprised by this," Bardzilowski admitted.
