Poland to receive total of PLN 67 bln from national recovery plan KPO this year
Poland will receive a total of PLN 67 billion (EUR 15.6 bln) in EU funds under the national recovery plan KPO this year: PLN 27 billion (EUR 6.3 bln) has already flowed and PLN 40 billion (EUR 9.3 bln) is planned by the end of the year, development funds and regional policy minister Katarzyna Pelczynska-Nalecz told a conference. She added that investments of up to PLN 100 billion (EUR 23.2 bln) are planned for 2025.
"After 10 months since unlocking of the national recovery plan KPO, PLN 67 billion will flow to Poland this year - PLN 27 billion has already flowed, and we are planning another PLN 40 billion by the end of the year," Pelczynska-Nalecz told a conference.
"We have concluded 600,000 agreements (...), we have contracted 30 percent of the grant pool that is in the national recovery plan KPO," she added.
She stressed that transfers have been made from the state development fund PFR for almost PLN 6.5 billion (EUR 1.5 bln) and by the end of the year this will be another PLN 5 billion (EUR 1.16 bln).
"Next year, we plan to invest up to PLN 100 billion," the minister added.
