PKO BP sees legal risk cost of CHF loans at PLN 994 mln in Q3

Listed largest lender by assets PKO BP estimates that preliminary unaudited cost of risk for legal risk associated with CHF mortgages, charged to the results for the third quarter of 2024, amounted to PLN 994 million (EUR 231.6 mln), the bank said in a market filing.


"The amount of these costs is due to updates to the parameters of the legal risk assessment model, including an increase in the expected costs of the settlement programme," PKO BP explained.
