Poland's CPI to be in line with central bank target in medium term, says c. bank governor
Poland's central bank NBP's inflation projection shows that in the so-called medium term, inflation will be in line with the NBP's inflation target of 2.5 percent +/-1 percentage point, NBP governor Adam Glapinski told Thursday's press conference following the decision-making meeting held by the Monetary Policy Council on Wednesday.
"The projection shows that in the so-called medium term, inflation will be in line with the NBP's inflation target of 2.5 percent +/-1 percentage point," Glapinski pointed out.
He added that there are, however, four key factors that will affect inflationary processes in the medium term.
"These are, first and foremost, fiscal policy, government spending and revenues, secondly, the development of the economy, thirdly, the situation on the labour market and lastly, energy prices," he listed.
