Energa Operator receives first tranche of PLN 1.33 bln loan granted under national recovery plan

Energa Operator, the unit of Poland's largest energy concern Orlen's subsidiary Energa, has received the first tranche of PLN 1.33 billion (EUR 304.9 mln) of a loan granted under the national recovery plan KPO, Energa said in a market filing.


It was stated that approximately 60 percent of the value of the first tranche of funds was allocated to refinancing investments made until June this year in connecting new customers, and 30 percent to the development and digitisation of the distribution network, adapting it to smart grid standards.
