Orlen SAOrlen energy to issue total EUR 600 mln in bonds
Poland's largest energy concern Orlen has finalised the prospectus for medium-term series D bonds with a total nominal value of EUR 600 million, which will be issued as part of a medium-term bond programme, Orlen said in a market filing.
Orlen announced that the proceeds from the issue will be used to finance projects in three specific categories: renewable energy, energy efficiency and clean transport.
The nominal value of one bond is EUR 100,000, and there are 6,000 bonds in total.
The planned settlement date for the bond issue is July 2, 2025. The redemption date has been set for July 2, 2032.
Subscription for the bonds took place on June 25, completed on the same day. The offer was not divided into tranches. The allocation of bonds took place on the same day, and the settlement of the issue will take place on July 2.
During the subscription period, 139 investors expressed interest in the bonds. The final order book included subscriptions for over EUR 1.49 billion, which means that the bonds were oversubscribed by approximately 2.5 times. Orlen allocated bonds to 117 investors from 27 countries.
The bonds will not be secured.
It was announced that the company will apply for admission of the bonds to trading on the regulated market operated by Euronext Dublin and on the regulated market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
BNP Paribas, ING, Société Générale, CaixaBank and Deutsche Bank Aktiengeselleschaft participated in the preparation of the transaction.
