Orlen energy to supply 140 mln cubic metres of natural gas under contract with Naftogaz

Poland's largest energy concern Orlen will supply 140 million cubic metres of natural gas under a new contract with its Ukrainian counterpart Naftogaz, the company said in a press release. The gas will come from the United States and, after regasification at the LNG terminal in Swinoujscie, will be transported to Ukraine.


Orlen reported that the agreement guarantees the continuity of gas supplies to the Ukrainian market in the coming months and is of significant importance for the country's energy security before the start of the heating season.

It was pointed out that this is already the fourth gas supply agreement concluded by Orlen and Naftogaz in 2025.

The latest agreement is the result of a commercial cooperation agreement in the field of LNG natural gas, which Naftogaz and Orlen signed in March 2025.
